Community Impact
ABOUT OUR PROGRAMS :: How kids perform in school is affected by their home life and how they spend their free time. In most cases, it’s about education outside the classroom. We have a proven record and the tools in place to measure impact and instill core values including academic success, maintaining healthy lifestyles and preparing great leaders.
The Boys & Girls Clubs of Sarasota County have several educationally-structured programs that reinforce what children and youth learn at school. Programs are outcome driven and focus on three areas of impact: Academic Success, Good Character and Citizenship and Healthy Lifestyles.
Often overlooked is the role of Community Partnerships. Organizations like the Community Foundation of Sarasota County, the Gulf Coast Community Foundation of Venice, Ringling College of Art and Design, Take Stock in Children, All Faith’s Food Bank, Whole Foods Market, Girls Scouts, Publix and many others play a vital role in helping us to help our youth excel and progressively impact our community.
